PRODUCT INFO A wild relative of the blueberry, huckleberries have a similar flavor, but more complex, with tart and musky notes. Each of these huckleberries has been foraged for and sustainably hand-picked. The sweetest huckleberry variety, violet-black huckleberries are perfect in desserts and pair exceptionally well with salmon and game meats. We estimate that there are approximately 2 ½ - 3 cups of huckleberries in a pound. STORAGE Storage: Store frozen wild huckleberries in your freezer until you are ready to use them. Store fresh huckleberries in a covered container in your refrigerator. You can freeze them on a sheet tray and then pack them in a freezer bag for long term storage.
